Hi! My name is Katie. I am 10 years old. I like horses, horseback riding, softball, basketball, and dancing. Playing with my friends is fun too. I do not like diabetes because you have to prick your finger every day and get shots. I have to check my blood sugar about 8 times a day. I used to take 5 shots a day but now I have an insulin pump which does what shots do but I only have to get a little shot every 3 days. An insulin pump is much better in my opinion.
